INT Internship

This internship is in English. You can study French while living in France, but no French language skills are required to participate in the internship.

The Management department is offering an international internship and study abroad program for Pamplin College of Business students during fall semesters.

The internships positions are located at INT Management, a Virginia Tech exchange partner located in Evry, France, a suburb of Paris. The Virginia Tech relationship with INT, and particularly with INT Management, presents a unique opportunity for Virginia Tech students to undertake an internship experience and English language coursework in France.

INT has in place at any one time 10 to 15 incubator companies that would benefit from the perspective of internship students in various business disciplines.

INT Management conducts the program and has expressed a preference for advanced high performing undergraduate students to take these internships. The program is likely to be most appealing to advanced undergraduates who are close to finishing their degree and want a deep international experience before starting their careers.

The preferred applicants are rising juniors who are well rounded, highly motivated individuals, academically solid, open to new and challenging experiences, and are very keen to develop their cross-cultural management skills and learn some French. Students must have been approved for upper division coursework, and have a grade point average of at least 3.0.

The students will complete four English language courses, work as an intern for 20 hours per week, and earn 15 credits hours.

Because INT Management is a strategic partner of Virginia Tech, students will pay Virginia Tech Tuition and Fees, as if enrolling at Virginia Tech, in order to enroll at INT Management in the fall semester.

We believe this internship and study abroad program is an excellent opportunity for Pamplin students.
