Applying

 

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis once all paperwork is completed. There are two steps required to apply. These steps must be completed before you can be accepted into the program.

Step 1. Go to the VT Education Abroad site for the program and complete the application process. Click the "Apply Now" button and follow the instructions.

Step 2. You must complete these forms and sign where required. (You may lose your place in the program if you do not complete these forms immediately. )

    1. Download and save the forms onto your computer. This is mportant if you need to get more information to complete the forms.
    2. Complete the forms in Acrobat.
    3. Print and sign the forms.
    4. Bring the forms to Ms. Scarpaci in 1046 Pamplin

Acceptance & Deposit

Once you are accepted into the program you will get an email about paying the $500 deposit. This deposit is non-refundable, unless for some unforeseeable reason the trip is cancelled. The balance of the program fee is due on March 10, 2010.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

All students will receive a $300 scholarship from the Pamplin College of Business. The money will be deposited into your student account shortly before the program starts. You can use this money to cover your fees and expenses.

You must complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Financial Student Aid) to receive the scholarship. Apply through the VT Financial Aid Site.

In addition, Financial Aid for this Study Abroad course may be available through the normal Virginia Tech channels. Please inform the faculty leaders if you are applying for Financial Aid.
