The “Event and Information Technology Management on the French Riviera” study abroad program will be held on the French Riviera, with bases in Port Grimaud (adjacent to St-Tropez) and Antibes (adjacent to Nice and Cannes). The program will include a combination of in class teaching, business seminars, industry visits, involvement in local events, and travel over a 4-week period. The study abroad program will also be complemented with several field trips to Marseilles, Port-Cros, Nice, Cannes, Monaco and the northern part of Italy. Over the four-week period, students will stay at the Pierre et Vacances Resort in Port Grimaud (St-Tropez) for the first 9 days and then at the Pierre et Vacances resort/hotel in Antibes (Cannes) for remaining 21 days. A trip is currently being planned for a stay of two days at a Monastery on the Island of Port-Cros. Food is included for the first 9 days, while students will stay in apartments where they can cook their own food for the last 21 days.

Students will have opportunities to visit cities such as Marseilles, Ramatuelle, Port Grimaud, Antibes, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Nice and the northern part of Italy. The public transportation (train/bus) system is efficient and offers multiple and non-expensive ways to visit these many places.
