Costs

The program fee depends on the number of students in the program as shown in following table. A $500 deposit towards the program fee is due at the time of registration. You will be billed for this deposit. All students will receive a $300 scholarship from the Pamplin College of Business. This amount is not reflected in the following cost table. The money will be deposited into your student account shortly before the program starts. You can use this money to cover your fees and expenses.

A $1000 payment is due on February 1. The balance of the program fee is due on March 1, 2010.

The program fee includes:

  • Roundtrip airfare Washington, DC - Nice
  • Shuttles between Nice airport and Pierre and Vacances hotel/apartments
  • Discount pass for local trains
  • Local travel to industry visits
  • Local travel to CERAM for classes
  • Lodging in a Pierre & Vacances resort with kitchenettes
  • Six group dinners
  • Weekend in Port-Cros Island (lodging, transportation and meals)
  • Three regional visits by bus
  • Ferry to St-Tropez

Note: Students should have a credit card to provide a security deposit (not charged) for the hotel. Students who do not have access to a credit card should plan on bringing extra cash for the security deposit.

All students must register for summer school and pay tuition. The University has not established the summer 2010 tuition rates as of September 2009.

All students enrolled in a Study Abroad Program are required to pay an academic fee and technology fee in addition to the tuition fee. If enrolled in 5 or more credit hours, the academic fee is $70.00 (80%) and the technology fee is $9.50 per term. Non-Virginia residents are required to pay a capital fee in addition to tuition, the academic fee and the technology fee. If enrolled in 5 or more credit hours the fee is $42.50 per term.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Your financial aid eligibility will apply to this program. You must submit a financial aid form to the study abroad office at the International Affairs building, 526 Prices Fork Road, room 131.
